Dr. Natalia Sikaczowski, PT, DPT, CSCS
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Dr. Natalia Sikaczowski founded Symmetry Physical Therapy in 2013 with the fundamental belief that patients should be treated on an individual basis. Dr. Natalia believes patients should be given a diverse array of treatment modalities and techniques, along with a progressive and varied exercise and stretching program, to ensure maximum recovery. This all-encompassing approach, along with Dr. Natalia’s strong background in strength and conditioning, has led to Symmetry’s successful treatment programs for patients looking to get back into sport, recover from injury, or beat chronic pain.
Dr. Stan Sowinski, PT, DPT, MTC/ Doctor of Physical Therapy/ Certified Manual Therapist

Dr. Stan Sowinski joined the Symmetry Physical Therapy team in March of 2018. Dr. Sowinski received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, a program recognized by its excellence in manual therapy. Since then, Dr. Sowinski has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics, where he specializes in evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Dr. Sowinski believes in determining the foundational cause of musculoskeletal pain during an evaluation, and educating his patients to help them gain a further understanding of their plan of care. Utilizing his knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice, manual therapy, sports performance, and kinesiology, he treats his patients to alleviate pain and accomplish their goals.
Dr. Sowinski’s interest in physical therapy and sports performance started at an early age when he participated in several sports, inspiring his passion for movement, sports performance, and treatment of musculoskeletal impairments. He utilizes his experience in athletics and fitness to inspire patients all while implementing the latest research to achieve the best possible results.
Dr. Timothy Alemi, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Timothy Alemi joined the team at Symmetry PT in August 2018. Tim is originally from NJ, and graduated from Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science with a specialization in Health Promotion and Fitness Management. Tim went on to complete a Summer internship, followed by employment, as a strength coach at Endeavor Sports Performance the year before attending PT school. Tim’s experience as a strength coach allowed him the opportunity to work with athletes to help develop their movement variability, strength, speed, and conditioning to improve their overall athleticism in preparation for their season.
Tim attended the University of Miami and graduated with honors with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. (Go Canes!) Tim’s passion for a career in sports let him to a sports residency specializing in the acute management, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of athletes. He completed his sports residency in July 2018 at Adventist Health in Glendale, CA, which included completion of over 400 hours of on-field coverage and 150 hours of mentoring with board certified sports specialists. Tim will be sitting for his exam to become a board-certified sports specialist in March 2019.
Tim strives to provide excellent care and rehabilitation to return his patients back to the sports they love. His background of on-field medical coverage, management of acute injuries, return to sport programming, and strength & conditioning supports his expertise in working with athletes throughout the continuum of care.
Tim played football and baseball growing up, and excelled through each level of competition for over 15 years. He worked as a baseball coach for 4 years to provide movement analysis and instruction on pitching, throwing, and hitting working with youth and high school athletes. Tim continues to advance his knowledge of injury, movement analysis, and exercise to ensure his patients receive optimal strategies to maintain injury-free. Dr. Alemi strongly believes in striving to improve himself every day, so his patients should expect the same!
Dr. Nicole Willis, PT, DPT / Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Nicole Willis graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut where she focused her studies on movement science. She then moved to Florida where she graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017.
Since graduating, Dr. Willis has developed a special love and interest for outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. She uses her certifications in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Rocktape Functional Movement Techniques (FMT), along with her academic training and evidence-based practice to provide patients with the highest quality of care.
Dr. Willis is passionate about her work and dedicated to helping her patients optimize movement and return to what they love. She has helped runners, walkers, adolescent athletes, weekend warriors, and many other athletes and non-athletes alike recover from a wide variety of injuries. She is goal-oriented and believes in working together with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans designed to decrease pain, increase function, and decrease risk for re-injury.
Dr. Willis enjoys practicing Pilates and will become a certified Pilates Instructor in the fall of 2019. She also enjoys running with her husband and dog, participating in group fitness classes, and playing sports on the beach. She believes in the importance of movement and exercise and seeks to inspire and motivate her patients to perform to the best of their abilities.
Latoya Trotter, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Latoya is a highly trained massage therapist who enjoys working with patients to restore and maintain their health through specific muscle therapy. Latoya is passionate about monitoring patients’ progression and educating patients on how to decrease their risk of injury and recover faster. Latoya offers therapeutic, Swedish, deep tissue, sports, recovery, trigger point, cupping, relaxation, and hot stone massage.
Jennifer Hopkins
Office Coordinator
Jenny is the friendly face you will see when you come visit us! She recently moved to Miami from Washington, D.C., she fell in love with the culture and vibrancy of Miami. Jenny has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Goucher College. During her time at Goucher, she was a manager for the Men’s Basketball Team, student ambassador and received the Senior Leadership Capstone award. She is very passionate about holistic mind and body wellness with a focus on plant-based nutrition and participating in community-wide partnerships.
Lauren Azzam
Social Media and Marketing Director
Lauren began with Team Symmetry PT in October of 2017. Lauren is Symmetry’s leader in community outreach, social media, and marketing. Lauren’s more recent events with Team Symmetry have included participation with the Miami Marathon, Corporate Run, Miami International Fitness Expos, and run clubs. She prides herself on organizing and promoting Team Symmetry’s involvement in the local community. Lauren coordinates educational workshops integrating Team Symmetry into Miami gyms and health clubs. She plays a supportive role in helping to expand local’s knowledge of movement, pain reduction, physical therapy interventions, and injury prevention. She has coordinated repeat events with some well known establishments such as Orange Theory, CrossFit, CKO Kickboxing, and Team FDC Run Club.
Lauren is currently pursuing her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Barry University. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Medicine in 2013 from California Baptist University. She will be a licensed Occupation Therapist in May 2020
Lauren is a SoCal native who moved to Miami in the fall of 2017 to further her education. She is an avid runner, a huge LA sports fan, and a total beach bum!

Melanie Adkins
Patient Coordinator
Melanie recently moved from Cincinnati, OH to pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy Degree (MOT) at Barry University. Melanie received her bachelors in Gerontology and Psychology in 2017 from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) where she graduated with honors.
During her time at BGSU, she was a cheerleader for football, basketball, and competition for all four years, placing 3rd in the Nation at UCA Nationals
Melanie’s past experience working with older adults as a nurses’ aid in a nursing home has influenced her passion to help others become more independent in their daily lives through occupational therapy.
Melanie joined the Symmetry Physical Therapy team to assist in and manage the ‘behind the scenes’ work. She is one of the friendly faces you will see when you come in to see us!
